Let us forget and forgive is the new principle in going forward in this business entertainment envisaged by Dr Shivarajakumar at the ‘Belli Hejje’ on Monday evening at Ravindra Kalakshetra. Belli Hejje organised by Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy was well attended, a photo exhibition of 100 plus film and off beat ones were displayed, a documentary was also part of this ‘Belli Hejje’. Dr Shiv was felicitated on this occasion. The first heroine of Shivanna on silver screen Sudharani was present.

Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar, Dr B Saroja Devi, Information minister Roshan Baig, Thara Anuradha, Sudharani and others were present.

The interaction session was held by actor and director Chi Gurudut and Sadashiva Shenoy of B TV.

It was the 54th Belli Hejje Dr Shivarajakumar spoke at length. Here are the excerpts.

·         When my father Dr Raj was kidnapped by Veerappan the relatives, friends, fans stood behind us. All religion supported for our prayer in early release. Our house was like mini India. That is why I always say India is best.

·         On the farmers suicide a film to bring courage to such people is on the cards.

·         Everyone has ambition. Like that my wife Geetha also had ambition of entering in to politics.

·         I am only son of Dr Rajakumar. Please do not compare me with legendary father.

·         After hospitalisation I have made a few changes. I am fit enough. I am giving a program on health.

·         We have to struggle to take the Kannada film to outside Karnataka.

·         I would act till ‘Abhimani Devaragalu wants to act.

·         The simplicity of my father is what I have followed. He had given lessons of simplicity when were youths. Even my father in law was from agriculture.

·         For my professional growth the biggest contribution is from my mother. Later Geetha took over.

·         I am now in the line of becoming a grandfather.

·         For my young and cheerful moment the affection and love are main reasons.

·         I was beaten once by my father Dr Rajakumar. He did not eat food for three days. (this question was asked by Dr B Sarojadevi).

·         I will be like boy friend and girl friend ever in the family with Geetha.

·         Not Padmasri, I am interested in Oscar award in my life.
